R-CAS is a high performance
resin bonded anchor system that is used for safety critical, structural
applications. It relies on the adhesion of the resin to the concrete
and stud, therefore providing an expansion free anchorage. It
can be used with studs or sockets in a wide range of solid base
materials including stone, masonry, and concrete. R-CAS capsules
contain epoxy acrylate resin, quartz granules and a phial of hardener.
The capsule and phial are broken and mixed in the hole by the
action of driving the stud or socket in with a drilling machine.
The adhesive strength of the resin is unaffected by installation
in unpolluted water. Studs are available in zinc plated and stainless
steel grade 304(A2). An SDS drill adapter is available to enable
these sizes to be installed with an SDS drilling machine as an
accessory. Suitable for overhead use with care. |

The Rawl R-HAC capsule range is a simple
and rapid method of fixing either threaded studs or rebar to concrete
or stone. The stud or rebar is simply hammered through the capsule
using a mechanical hammer drill. In applications where deeper embedment
is required multiple capsules can be used. e.g. when higher loading
is necessary or where the surface concrete is of poor quality. Rawl
R-HAC capsule contains epoxy acrylate resin, quartz granules and
hardener. Studs and rebar should be square cut (not chisel pointed)
to ensure thorough mixing of resin and hardener during installation.

Rawl R-KEX is a two
part odourless high performance epoxy resin cartridge system.
R-KEX is suitable for anchoring studs and rebar into concrete
and other solid substrates. Due to negligible shrinkage R-KEX
is suitable for installation in oversized holes. (Contact Rawlplug
Technical Advisory Service). The 400ml cartridge should not be
used in temperatures below 5° C. |

Rawl R-KER is a 380ml epoxy acrylate
vinyl ester, styrene free cartridge system providing a high performence,
expansion free fixing method into solid materials. R-KER offers
higher load performance than polyester resin systems with shorter
gel and cure times and improved chemical resistance. It is suitable
for installation in damp or wet conditions. R-KER can be used at
deeper embedment for fixing starter bars, rebar or threaded studding
and where higher loads are required. Not suitable for overhead applications. |

Rawl R-KEM is a 300ml methacrylate resin
cartridge system using a standard 300ml mastic type gun. It provides
an expansion free fixing method into solid and hollow materials.
R-KEM offers higher load performance than polyester resin systems
with shorter gel and cure times and improved chemical resistance.
It is suitable for installation in damp or wet conditions. R-KEM
can be used at deeper embedment for fixing starter bars, rebar or
threaded studding and where higher loads are required. Suitable
for overhead applications. |
